Objectives
Our activities and plans aim and seek to create an environment where all people feel appreciated and valued.  Some of our objectives include:

Recognise and promote female values in the community by encouraging them to use their potential in creating a change around them.

Minimise discomfort and stress of victims of abuse of any kind by coming together, showing concern and helping them. In this way they will understand that we share similar issues and they are not alone in their suffering.

Counselling program to help survivors of violence cope and heal. We wish to see continuous smiles on the faces of those who can now try to put their unhappiness in the past.

Empower of women and maximise fear among those who threaten female children with any kind of abuse. By witnessing the great impact the female sex have on the community; everyone will understand that women are as powerful as men. By dealing with women oppressors as they deserve, we believe that violence will be reduced to a minimum.

Promote awareness of human rights at a local level by reaching as many people as we can. Through going to churches throughout the camp and doing presentations about this program we hope to reach and change the minds and attitudes of many people towards women.

Care, encourage and support girls and women to gain their dignity. By showing empathy and taking care of those who need us, we hope to make life more the way we hope it could be and the way it is meant to be. While showing females that many are supporting them to see and celebrate their achievements, they feel motivated. Teaching them how to teach others will cultivate an endless positive change and the community will show respect to them.

Mid-term goal/ proposed activities
In 2-3 years we plan to have made a significant step forward in this project and the following outlines what we hope to achieve:

  • Expand the number of members by including various age groups
  • Income generating activities for the members
  • Work with individuals, institutions and organisations to get more knowledge and support.
  • Reach Eastern Congo a place currently tagged as “The worst place to be a woman"
