Juan has been working in graphic design of educational text books, publicity of civilian organizations' campaigns and independent publications since 1995. He also designs the weekly cultural independent newspaper "El Yacare" in Paraguay where he also develops typographic fonts for Spanish and Guaraní (second official language of Paraguay).

At present Juan also lectures at the Catholic University of Paraguay.
