Use drama as a form of therapy with individuals, groups &
communities;

work with targeted groups in need of counselling achieved through
development in drama and the arts in general;

integrate & reintegrate individuals into communities through therapy
based drama and arts projects;

train individuals and groups to work with Augusto Boal’s Theatre of
the Oppressed methods within their communities; to work with these
individuals and groups to create programmes best suited to their
socio-political environment;

provide an access to tools for use in environments which allow a
broad use of the arts as social experience and by so doing increase
access and encourage exposure to the arts for the communities in
which we work;

use theatre (and other arts) as testimonials of socio-political
situations; as a means of recording the facts in an artistic form
that becomes accessible to a wider audience;

provide skills and resources which enrich the relationships between
the arts and communities;

encourage participation in the process and product of artistic
creation as a form of healing;

create educational opportunities which enhance the academic
experience through exposure to, and study of, issues of the human
condition;

empower people to take an active role as functioning members of
their communities;

offer alternatives for those who wish to discover non-violent ways
of making social change and affecting social justice;

foster collaboration between, and support the efforts of, those
individuals and organizations engaged in the struggle for
non-violence;

encourage and provide tools to individuals and groups who are
engaged in social/political/personal conflict to look to methods of
resolution other than violence;

interpose art, artists and peacemakers between individuals and
groups who are engaged in social/political/personal;

initiate and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals
and organizations whose purpose is related to the mission statement.
